Casacastalda

Info point#14

Italiano

For centuries Casa Castalda was part of the papal state and remained under Perugia’s domain until the year 1798: the year when French troops declared that temporal power of popes was over.

Former territories constituted the Roman Republic, and from this new order, the municipality of Casa Castalda belonged to Gualdo Tadino.

In 1860 was attacked and conquered by Valfabbrica, as it still is today.
